This software makes programming much easier by allowing you to program straight from a solid model. Mastercam also does this but the way it handles models is to extract the surfaces from the solid. Topsolid on the other hand knows what has been cut already and does not create a toolpath in areas that have already been machined. another benefit is that Topsolid uses all cores of the cpu simultaneously where as Mastercam only uses 1 or 2 for most operations.
